Since "The Parker Homestead - 1665, Inc." was organized, we had planned to create a research library open to anyone interested in learning about Parker or Monmouth County history. No one was more interested in local history than Julia Parker and there are hundreds of books, fiction, and nonfiction, found in the house. Volunteer Joanne Ferguson has been sorting and filing to create the paper version of our library using these Parker resources. Joanne has created a LibGuide offering you links to several digital databases, which allows you to research census, newspaper, and other archives for local history information. She also has taped instructions for you if you need help using the databases.
