our mission

The Parker Homestead - 1665, Inc. is a 501c3 organization that was established in 2012.  
​In collaboration with the Borough of Little Silver, The Parker Homestead – 1665 Inc.'s mission is to preserve the unique 330 year history of the Parker Family through the restoration and maintenance of the Homestead lands and buildings and promote their use for educational, historical and cultural exhibits and events dedicated to enriching and increasing our knowledge and appreciation of local heritage.

Volunteer

The Parker Homestead is a work in progress, new volunteers
​are always welcome. 


​We host several clean-up days throughout the year.  Volunteers are welcome to come for the entire morning or just an hour. More hands make light work and we are happy to welcome new faces!  


We will provide letters for community service hours  for high school or college students who need it.
