The Parker Homestead–1665, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2012. In partnership with the Borough of Little Silver, New Jersey, our mission is to preserve the Parker family’s centuries-long history through the restoration and maintenance of the Homestead, its historic buildings, and surrounding lands. We promote their use for educational, historical, and cultural exhibits and events that deepen public understanding and appreciation of Little Silver’s local heritage.

The Parker Homestead–1665, located in Little Silver, New Jersey, is an ongoing preservation project, and new volunteers are always welcome. We host several cleanup days throughout the year—join for the full morning or drop in for an hour; many hands make light work, and we love welcoming new faces. We also provide letters verifying community service hours for high school and college students.
